What is the purpose of this form?

The purpose of this form is to apply for a corporate consolidation exemption from duty.

Who can complete this form?

This form can be completed by a director, authorised officer or agent for a member of the consolidated group or consolidatable group and can only be used where the eligible transaction:

  • was completed before 1 July 2019, or
  • arises from an agreement or arrangement entered into before 1 July 2019.

Unless otherwise stated, all section numbers are references to the Duties Act 2000.

The corporate consolidation exemption applies to eligible transactions occurring on or after 31 March 2005 solely for the purposes of corporate consolidation.

An application will not be processed unless all parts of this form are completed and the documents listed in the 'Document checklist' section are provided. If there is insufficient space, please attach a schedule.

How is this form lodged?

This form is completed online. When you have completed all relevant and mandatory information, please select submit and download a copy of the completed form. You are then required to sign and submit the form directly to the SRO.

Saved forms will be retained for 15 days. If you don’t complete and submit the form within 15 days, you’ll need to start again.
