•Each licence holder must submit a return within twenty eight (28) days from the end of each month. •This Logbook must be completed by the Licence Holder. The licence holder may be the nominated person. •If no fishing activities have occurred in the month a ‘NIL’ return must still be lodged. •If fishing activities have occurred but no fish were caught then you must still complete and submit the return stating ‘NIL Catch’ in the Fishing Details section. •Any interaction with Protected Wildlife (includes marine turtles, whales, dolphins, dugongs, crocodiles, seabirds and sea-snakes) must be recorded in the comments section of this form. •In addition, any direct interactions with protected wildlife, or unusual sightings of sick/stranded/net-caught animals or potential illegal activities within Territory waters are requested to be reported to the NT Marine WildWatch Hotline number, 1800 453 941. Any interaction that occurs within Commonwealth waters must be reported to the Department of the Environment within 7 days on telephone 1800 641 806 or email email@example.com. •Please note that as long as operators are fishing in accordance with fisheries legislation, it is not an offence to interact with protected species. It is however an offence not to report these interactions.
